This course is quite different from the traditional mathematics courses of the past. A major strand of the course is the culminating project and presentation. Each unit will be completed with a summative test, or case study. As well, as the course progresses there will be interim evaluations on the progress of the culminating project. The final mark for the course will be based on 70% of the term mark plus a 30% cumulative evaluation, which will be made up of a summative exam and the project presentation. Back to Top |
